Why Travel In a Group??
1. There is a thin like between adventure and risk. While most of us are mentally prepared to deal with the usual problems, but the world of travel has its own little nuances. One has to be safe first : lodging, guides, travelling at night, night safaris, best foodie places, transportation issues, adventure sports in groups. Its better to in a group , plan better, bargain hard.

2. That weird co-traveller, either in bus or train – remember. You get chatty and then all of a sudden you realize – uh oh. Too much information sharing, is it safe to talk any more? Hopefully he’s not chep or stalker, and you are going to the same destination so are you brave enough to travel with him or you have the courage to say NO to his company and you want to travel on your own. So be a group, save the dilemma and enjoy what you started for – the journey ahead.
3. The great trek/street everyone told you about. Either its too isolated a place to be alone or its already sunset and you can’t embark on that great walk alone. You don’t need to worry about it in a group and enjoy the path less travelled. We plan to hire some armed body guards too .. just kidding.
4. Don’t go out in the evening or in the night, you never know what lies ahead. That’s the usual thing to do if you are safe traveler and not James Bond, which I’m sure none of us is. So enjoy the company of your group mates to explore all the happening places at night. And complete your journey without missing out on the fun of a night owl.

5. Star gazing on the river side, walking by the beautiful fields, having a cup of hot tea on street – we all know we have missed it because we are alone and it is too difficult to avoid the instincts and step out on dark streets when most of the tourist places tend to close by 9-10 PM max . but being the late night city brats that we are, we can’t sleep so soon. So be a part of the gang and enjoy all this in a new place as well, without any anxieties.
6. Taking up not –so good accommodation options because of the budget constraint. Travelling alone can be very heavy on pocket sometimes, you pay for the double room and because of no prior experience of the city, you really don’t what is the best bargain. So get the best price in the group and make your trip even more pleasant.

8. Finally, backpackers can’t shop at all. With a backpack to crarry all the way, there is no space for anything and always being on the move with your belongings can be real hassle at times. I had to go bunjee jumping and leave all my valuables and backpack with the front office. Not something I would ideally like to do. So be a part of the group, don’t carry your baggage – in the real sense and enjoy the fun and excitement.
9. One cannot eat a variety of food because ones stomach can take only one serving. Be in a group and try as many dishes as possible.
10. Last but not the least, who will take that once in a lifetime shot if you are travelling alone? Selfies are fun but not always.
I have traveled extensively with family, with friends, with strangers and sometimes solo.. and I have loved them most in the reverse order.. there is something about traveling alone that just makes it a tad above the others!
